Haven't seen it myself yet, but a few people I know, and whose opinions I trust, especially all the FrightFest lot, have seen Cockneys Vs Zombies and reckon it's ace. It's playing FF over the bank holiday weekend.

This is playing there and heard great reports about it, after Lawless it'll be the best film of the year:

My mate used to tilt his head at a funny angle because he thought it made him Steve Cab cool. The tit*

Went to this at the opening of that Frightfest thingy. It's shit, but fun. Got a few good one liners in it.

I made it to the Imperial the night before FrightFest started, and to the Phoenix on the last night, but that was the extent of it.

Berberian's the one, apparently, along with the Maniac remake. I've seen Deil's Business, which is pretty good.

In other news, saw the first hour of Lawless the other day, but couldn't stand any more as was sat on the cobbles at Somerset House and it was freezing and massively uncomfortable.
What I saw was ace, however.

Beats Rhymes And Life is out next week, that A Trbe Called Quest doc, and it's good stuff.

Love, out next week at cinemas, limited release, is some good Moon/2001 sci-fi business…

Watched Shame. Christ, that was fucking tedious.

Also watched Jacob's Ladder and Angel Heart recently. Don't know if it was the film stock, cinematography or combination of both but both had an excellent "analogue" look of the times about them.

Love the house party in Jacobs Ladder
I should know, I played an Italian party whore in the Amanda Knox story.
