What you have to remember is that it was a GAY club for men only ( unlike the Garage / Gallery etc that did let in girls ( of all sorts granted ). Those men were hand pisked and vouched for mainly from the Middle and upper class of the NY white gay scene . Its great reading about such places and discovering music that you have never heard before BUT i honestly doubt if anyone of here would have gone there if we had been living in NY during that period .. however i still love the pics n mixes for what they are ..
