It's a bit odd that the two big smoked/BBQ meat vendors, Bodeans & Pitt Cue were both asked to attend, but declined.

Shithouses.

Pitt Cue last night with Claire. Smoked Pigs Head Crubeens (they smoke the pigs head till the meat if falling off, make a terrine, roll it, slice into wheels, crumb and deep fry :D :D :D ), Pork Ribs, Brisket, Chipotle Slaw, Brisket Mash - all amazing. The Whatever draft beer and Pikesville Rye whiskey we great too. Only the wings (slightly) disappointed. Had to wait for just over an hour (as predicted by the girl running the tables when we put our names down) which was fine by us. Top notch.

I may have misunderstood the true reality behind the meat thread.

Another place doing burgers properly. Really tasty BBQ'd beef patty, cooked med rare. Topped with pulled pork, cheese, bacon, pickles, tomato and an eng mustard/Mayo/ketchup dressing. Nice soft bun, that didn't collapse after two bites. £10.Good range of beer, went for Brooklyn and Camden ink. Worth checking
