Big Ben to China

Postby Rob Brown » Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:57 pm

it`s been a while since i posted on here..been on browsing but, been sorting out this bike ride since November, and still sorting stuff..taking loads of planning, more than expected!!.... starting to hit home a bit today !!ha

the plan is to cycle from Big Ben to China, setting off on 1st July raising money for the charity International Childcare Trust, cant believe it`s only 4 weeks to go !!,.. it`s looking to be 6000 miles from the Uk to China, then from there hopefully go over the Himalayas to India, the target at the moment is China, see how it goes from there with funds and visas

the route i`m cycling is Uk, France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China

Lazy`s loaded on the ipod for the hard times, and a copy of the Faith mag on board god forbid in case of any hostage situations, ha ha

i`ve set up a blog to keep a journal going while on route if you fancy keeping an eye on it, leave a comment let me know there`s world out there !!; )

I'm just training for the London to Brighton... but you've blown me out the water a bit there.

Fair play - hope it goes well.
